Starting a new brokerage and don’t know where to begin? The NAR offers numerous resources to point you in the right direction and help ensure the success of your new business venture. We’ll try not to overwhelm with too many resources, so below are some highlights.

The first thing we’ll mention are our field guides, which are a collection of resources (eBooks, articles, reports) on over 150 hot real estate topics. View these guides as a way to “get smart quick” on any topic a client might ask about, or that you might encounter in your business. Networking and Professional Development
NAR’s institutes, councils and societies offer numerous designations and certifications for niche marketing and professional networking. Find a list of NAR-recognized designations and certifications here. One can also take online courses, many of which count toward our designations and certifications, online via REALTOR University here. Of course, the NAR’s annual convention is a great way to network and meet REALTORS® from across the country (think: referral business and staff recruiting) and build lasting relationships to carry you throughout your career.
And much more…
There are dozens of other NAR resources available to members of the Association. We recommended setting aside a few minutes every week or so to dedicate time surfing the www.realtor.org website and reading the NAR Weekly Report to learn about all of the great tools that are available to you as a member of the NAR. Click here to log in to Realtor.org and ensure you are set up to receive the NAR Weekly Report and other E-Newsletters. Contact Information Central if you need assistance logging in to Realtor.org.
